The Cambria Toy Station

Dorsett
Publications

The Cambria Toy Station started as the retail outlet and model display space for Dorsett Publications and evolved. In addition to our publications, we specialize in "heirloom toys," toys that can be passed down from one generation to the next, including: wooden toys, wooden trains, construction toys, wooden puzzles, dollhouse kits, jigsaw puzzles, and kites.

The Toy Station will officially open its doors on July 1, 2007 in the historic Christiansburg Station in the Cambria Historic District in Christiansburg, Virginia. While The Toy Station is a new addition in the Christiansburg Station (known locally as the Cambria Depot), the old railroad station has been the home of Dorsett Publications and The Scale Cabinetmaker since 1983 and houses many of the prototype models designed by Jim and Helen Dorsett for their modeling journal and their books.
